Registrations may be cancelled up to two weeks before the event, and your registration fee, less a $30 processing fee, will be refunded. Please note that refunds are not available for programs moved to scheduled inclement weather dates.

Join expert instructor Bob Gross for an evening of learning and practicing nighttime photography techniques. As an added treat, view and photograph a private Illuminated Fountain Performance, set up just for you.

Before the onsite portion of the experience we'll meet online to talk about how best to photograph this storied space at night. After the exclusive shoot, you'll have the opportunity to receive feedback from Gross and your peers in a friendly online critique.

Full course content includes both the online and the onsite components.

Location

Onsite at Longwood Gardens with additional online sessions.

This program will take place partially or entirely outdoors. Please dress for the weather and wear footwear suited for walking on uneven paths and through wet areas.

Instructor

Bob Gross

Having graduated with a degree in visual communications, Bob Gross has 30 years of experience as a professional designer, photographer, and instructor. He's conducted classes and workshops ranging from beginner photography to advanced computer imaging. Currently, Gross is also serving as an adjunct professor at Drexel University, where he teaches a graduate course in biomedical photography. Gross loves creating images of nature, landscapes, and wildlife; but what really excites him is seeing a student's eyes light up when they say, "Wow, NOW I get it!"
