In-Garden Opportunity

Teen Volunteer Program

Let your teens know about our personal and professional growth opportunities at Longwood. This is a chance for them to develop their leadership skills and explore careers in horticulture while connecting with others in an enriching environment.

Online & Onsite Programs

For Homeschoolers

Our award-winning Webinars invite individual students and groups to join a Longwood educator online for an engaging presentation and interactive Q&A on an interesting horticulture topic. Family Nature Strolls invite the whole family to explore nature during these fun, 30-minute guided walks held seasonally in the Gardens.

Longwood Gardens field trips are available for homeschool groups of 15 or more students (4-18)

  • Educator-Guided field trips are recommended for homeschool groups of 15 or more students within a similar grade band.
  • Self-Guided field trips are recommended for homeschool groups across a wide range of grade levels; optional print-at-home activities are available to enjoy while visiting the Gardens.
