The perfect first step is creating a pollinator garden in a pot! Join Longwood Horticulturist Clay Stradley in creating an eye-catching, mini garden perfect for the “pollinator garden curious” that want to welcome pollinators to their backyard, patio, front steps, and more. Learn what plants attract pollinators, how to care for your pollinator container garden, and take home your very own mini garden to admire and attract biodiversity.

Clay Stradley

Clay Stradley is a Horticulturist in the East Conservatory at Longwood Gardens, caring for a large portion of our permanent tropical plant collection. With a master's degree in plant taxonomy he has been expanding his knowledge of tropical plants and their care, previously serving as a tropical greenhouse manager for a local garden center. He loves container gardening and the ability it gives to try new combinations.
