The Conservatory District, Peirce-du Pont House, and Garden Shop will be closed Wednesday and Thursday, November 20–21, as we prepare for A Longwood Christmas. Outdoor gardens will be open 10:00 am–5:00 pm.
Educator-guided field trips can accommodate up to 75 students per program time. We offer 2 program times per day; with programs beginning at 10:30 AM or 12:00 PM.
For groups with more than 75 students, students will be split between AM and PM program times on the same day or attend multiple days.
A school may not register more than 300 students in a school year (September-June).
Educator-guided programs are designed to meet the educational needs of the students within specific grade brands. Grade bands are Pre-K, K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12.
We recommend the Benefits of Nature program for a mix of students in grades 3-12 or to request a self-guided field trip.

We strive to ensure that every guest has an excellent experience when visiting our Gardens. If students require special accommodations, contact School & Youth Programs prior to your arrival. Schoolandyouth@longwoodgardens.org or 610-388-5377.
We recommend that you visit the Gardens as a self-guided field trip.
The lead teacher should check in at the podium in the bus lot. Be prepared to provide the final student and chaperone count upon check-in.
Divide the number of students by 15 to calculate the number of groups. Assign a group number (1-5) to each student.
The AM students will exit the bus first. PM students will wait on the bus until the first groups have departed the bus lot with their Longwood Educator.
Coolers can be left in the Café Tent for the duration of your visit, but you be responsible for transporting items back to the Visitor Center Bus Lot.
