Start your class experience with an online orientation with professional photographer Andy Bale. Then, meet up with Bale in the East Conservatory for a quick introduction before you begin your early-morning photography session exploring and capturing the magic of this year’s A Longwood Christmas display throughout the West, East, and Main Conservatories at your leisure. Conclude your class online with a follow-up critique … and a whole lot of beautiful shots to proudly display at home.

Online Critique
Tuesday, December 3, 6:00–8:00 pm

Full course content includes both the online and the onsite components.

Onsite in the Conservatory

This program will take place partially or entirely outdoors. Please dress for the weather and wear footwear suited for walking on uneven paths and through wet areas.

Instructor

Andy Bale

Andy received his MFA from the University of Delaware in 2005, and his BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 1994. He has been a full-time Lecturer of Photography at Dickinson College since 2013 and served as an adjunct professor of Photography prior to that from 2005 until 2012. Bale's photographs are included in the permanent collections of Caisse d'Epargne in Toulouse, the Photomedia Center and Messiah College in Pennsylvania, and at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia.
