Our 2024–25 Floral Fun Series invites you to explore and create a uniquely beautiful, themed floral design each month in celebration of an occasion, holiday, or activity relevant to that month.
As the outdoors warm up in late summer, join us to learn how to “warm up” a home with a beautiful floral design. What better way to celebrate a housewarming party or surprise a host than showering them with a made-by-you floral design? Led by local flower farmer Mara Tyler of The Farm at Oxford, this hands-on workshop invites you to incorporate locally grown florals and seasonal floral standouts like dahlias into your unique designs. Practice your floral design talents all while creating a one-of-a-kind, unforgettable gift.

Mara Tyler
California native turned Pennsylvania flower farmer Mara Tyler grew flowers in small spaces for 20 years in her home state. She now farms in Southern Chester County on a 12-acre farmette that was historically used for dairy and sheep farming. Fenced pastures with meadowed flatlands seemed perfect for brightly colored flowers, and the idea of The Farm at Oxford was born. The farm's cut flower business specializes in locally grown peonies, dahlias, roses, spring bulbs, and companion perennials.
