A healthy habitat of beneficial wildlife can thrive in your garden even through the colder months.
Join ecological gardening expert Sam Nestory in exploring how to select and plant winter-friendly species of flora; design garden spaces that provide essential food and shelter for wildlife; and implement strategies to support them even during the chill of winter. Gain practical tips on maintaining your winter garden spaces—so that they are both perfect spots for wildlife to explore and vibrant outdoor spaces for you to enjoy.

This class will take part partially or entirely outdoors. Please dress for the weather.
Instructor
Samantha Nestory
Samantha Nestory is the engagement manager at Stoneleigh: A Natural Garden in Villanova, PA. She holds ecology and entomology degrees from the University of Delaware and is passionate about ecological gardening, native plants, and insect conservation.
