Are you considering beekeeping as a new hobby, but you’re not sure where to start?
Join beekeepers Dr. Katie Krebs and Paul Lysko for a crash course in what you’ll need to succeed.
Beekeeping, or apiculture, is the practical management of the social species of honeybees that live in large colonies of up to 60,000 individuals. During this class, you’ll have the opportunity to go hands-on with hive equipment and discuss its intricacies with an expert. Explore the mechanics, cost, and the ideal time to get started with your own beekeeping operation at home, and leave with confidence and knowledge you need to pursue this sweet pastime.
