Create your own custom jewelry this holiday season—for yourself or to give as a heartfelt gift to a loved one—all inspired by the beauty A Longwood Christmas.
Explore the magic of precious metal clay and create your very own botanically inspired fine silver jewelry in this two-part course with artist Hattie Weselyk. Imprint your favorite festive botanicals—evergreen sprigs, berries, and more—into metal clay which is then kiln-fired, resulting in 99.9% pure silver jewelry! Each student will make a pair of earrings and a pendant, lovely keepsakes from a relaxing and creative workshop—or a unique, handmade gift for the holidays.

Instructor
Hattie Weselyk
Hattie Weselyk is a self-taught jewelry artist who has been making jewelry since she retired as a professional ballerina to begin her family. Seeking a creative outlet after professional dance led her to an unexpected path. Hattie purchased a beginner jewelry-making book from a local craft store and established an immediate connection and passion for artisanal work. "Being self-taught as a jewelry artist has allowed me to cultivate my own unique style without undue outside influence." Hattie's jewelry is on sale in the Longwood Gift Shop as well as other national outlets.
